These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Audio Owl app ("the app"). Please read them carefully — we've kept them short and plain.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Audio Owl, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Audio Owl on your own Mac. You do not own the app itself — you own the right to use it under these Terms.
3. Purchases & Payments
All purchases and payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Any refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. Please refer to Apple's Media Services Terms for more information.
4. Acceptable Use
Please use Audio Owl as intended. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, redistribute, or otherwise misuse the app, except where such restrictions are not allowed by law.
5. The App Works Locally
Audio Owl runs entirely on your Mac. It does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
Audio Owl is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make the app reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
